We are looking for a dynamic, driven, and experienced Full-Stack Developer to join the team at Copper Bay Digital.
We’re committed to supporting the growth of membership organisations through our digital solutions, bespoke systems, customer-facing websites, mobile apps, and digital marketing campaigns.
Full-Stack Developer
Mid/ Senior Level
The role will see you working with various bespoke-built solutions, including CRM systems, booking solutions and a range of resource management systems, to name a few, developing new functionalities and enhancing new ones.
You’ll also play a key role in working with the broader business on the planning and implementing of a new multi-tenancy membership management solution, helping to brainstorm, design and build solutions to solve common problems and challenges for our clients.
We’re looking for a candidate with 5+ years of experience in developing solutions with a moderate to advanced understanding of the following key skills:
- Foundational PHP
- Laravel or other PHP frameworks, such as PHP Slim
- MySQL and associated database technologies
- React & React Native and Javascript technologies
- Standard Frontend framework competency with HTML5, Javascript, CSS, SCSS and frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind
In your role as a full-stack developer, you’ll undertake some of the following duties:
- Working closely with our project delivery teams and solutions architects to distil requirements and build solutions that deliver against our clients’ objectives.
- Problem-solving existing systems to build new solutions or enhance existing functionalities.
- Supporting our retainer clients in upgrading their functionality and understanding their solutions to inform development roadmaps better.
- Digesting and implementing our development standards and requirements across all projects you work on.
- Writing high-quality code that conforms to the required standards.
- Ensuring your work is thoroughly tested and you can support testing it with clear testing criteria and outcomes
- Be a part of our wider internal team for developing new systems and solutions to support the growth of our own objectives and clients.
- Ongoing opportunity to develop your skills with your own personal development plan.
Across the business, we are a 20-person team communicating well and taking joint responsibility for delivering client projects.
You will be expected to be able to work independently from detailed requirements set in project sprints with the support of our solutions architect.

You will work from our office in Swansea 2 days per week with the option of working from home the other 3 days.
