Jordan celebrates his ninth year at the agency!
This blog is to celebrate the journey of Jordan, one of the driving forces behind Copper Bay for the past nine years! As the design and digital lead, Jordan’s innovative vision and unwavering commitment have transformed the company’s creative landscape.
Not only is he great at what he does, but Jordan has also taken on the responsibility of office management. That means that the office runs smoothly thanks to his organisation!
About Jordan’s time at Copper Bay
1. Do you remember what made you apply to work at Copper Bay?
I applied to join Copper Bay because I had run my own small company called Zooba for a few years, however, I wanted to work within a bigger team with other designers, developers and marketing people. Copper Bay had grown very quickly in the 18 months prior so it was a great move to join the expanding team.
2. We know it was quite a while ago, but do you remember your first day?
Yes I do, it was in Henley House, Fforestfach. Which is actually the office next door to us now. It was Summertime and the heat was so warm in the office!! I had just got back from holidays too.
3. How has your job changed over your time?
My role has changed a lot over the time I’ve been here (9 years this June actually). I was employed as a graphic designer at the very start and over time I’ve always been keen to help out as and where needed. Over the years I’ve built up experience in handling client communications, meetings, project management, and also lead the team we have today.
4. What has been your most significant achievement/success?
One of my most significant achievements to date would be to lead the design/ UX for one of our best-performing start-ups Forever Puppy. The site has over 366,000 page views each week with over 1,300 monthly transactions each month.
5. What’s your favourite part of the job?
My favourite part of the job would be getting to work on a range of different projects and businesses. One month I’m designing a new website to generate leads for children’s nursery, the next could be creating a mobile app to help with internal training for a Police force.

I have represented Wales in Snooker both at junior and senior levels.
2. What’s your favourite thing to do outside of work?
I enjoy keeping fit and healthy by lifting weights and long walks around Swansea and the Gower.
